Long-Term Development Financing Remains Limited to a Few Local Banks

Long-term mortgage and construction financing of up to ten years is currently only available through two domestic development-focused banks, a narrow base given the scale of mining and infrastructure investment moving through the country. A broker could focus on connecting international development finance institutions to these local banks to help widen access to longer-term project financing.
